Everything you need to know about MVP Flag Football, Friday night games, player eligibility, and league rules.
What is MVP Flag Football?
MVP Flag Football is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit youth sports organization under Pacific West Foundation (#26-1752789). We run 6v6 non-contact passing leagues for boys and girls ages 5–15 across 20+ Southern California cities.
When are games played?
Regular season games take place on Friday nights under stadium lights. Kickoff times generally run between 5:30 PM and 9:00 PM depending on age division.
How often do teams practice?
Practices are held once a week for 1 hour. The specific day, time, and local field location are chosen by your volunteer head coach.
What is included with my registration fee?
Registration includes an official custom sublimated player jersey with player name, NFL flag belt and flags set, 8 guaranteed regular season games + playoffs, certified game officials, end-of-season awards, and full $1M insurance.
Can my child request to play with a friend or coach?
Yes! We make every effort to honor friend, classmate, and coach requests during registration so kids can play alongside schoolmates.
What equipment does my child need to bring?
MVP provides the official custom jersey and flag set. Parents must provide a mouthguard (mandatory for all games/practices) and cleats or athletic shoes.
What age and grade divisions are available?
Divisions range from Pre-K / Kindergarten through 8th Grade (ages 5–15): Pre-K/K, 1st/2nd Grade, 3rd/4th Grade, 5th/6th Grade, and 7th/8th Grade.
What is the refund policy?
Full refunds (minus SportsEngine processing fees) are available before registration closes. After registration closes, refunds are issued minus a $50 admin fee and jersey production fees if custom orders have been placed. No refunds are issued after games begin.
